Work done over the years for brands from all over the spectrum.
An exclusive line of classic games for Target. Drawing from the heritage artwork to create new, modern packages that hit the right note of nostalgia.
Grab a card. Bounce balls to make the sequence on the card. Thats it. Thats the game.
I wanted to capture the playful competition and irreverent nature of the game. Try to win, talk smack, don't flip over the table if you lose buddy.
A range of work I've done for the Barbie brand. From the core brands for the youngsters, to the more serious/sophisticated looks for older girls and collectors.
Some of these were for work, some were just for fun.
These are always fun. A unique chance to tell a story within a package.
The badges were designed to reward users for in-game accomplishments. Further, my task was to create key artwork that has room to grow with the toy line. I focused on fusing two unlikely partners: dimension and flat graphics.
The objective for this line was straight forward. Capture the high intensity action of a water balloon fight. Use the form of the package to convey speed. The graphics say "serious" and "light hearted competition" simultaneously.
Create a package line around a full set of blasters based on the popular video game series Halo™. The blasters were segmented into two categories: Alien and Human weaponry. The tone was set to be aspirational for younger kids, but still serious enough to stay true to the Halo™ universe.
These sketches demonstrate the process for designing product, branding and package structures. Often the concepts start with a broad approach to achieve the desired objectives. These capture a moment in time, at the start of the design process.
Artwork inspired by the golden coast.
This work is a representation of start of the creative process. Ideas and artwork that kicked off the visual direction of the brand. Unfortunately, these didn't make the final cut, but they're still some of my favorites.
